Tis' the season for handmade gifts and flurries of crafty fun! If you are looking for an easy keepsake idea for the kids to make and gift to the grandparents and/or other family members this holiday season, these handprint Christmas tree cards are perfect for YOU.

Today I'm sharing some inspiration on how to make these Handprint Christmas Tree Cards with your kids today and have them in the mail tomorrow. YES -- they are that EASY!

So with that being said, not only are these DIY cards super simple to assemble {even for a beginner crafter} but they are really inexpensive and have that handmade touch, that makes them so impressive too! Now grab those supplies, check out the full tutorial below and create some one-of-a-kind pieces with your child today! Happy crafting {and gifting} my friends!

Here are the supplies you'll need:

Directions for Handprint Christmas Tree Cards:

First trace your child's hand on the green cardstock. Trim out. Repeat for each handprint Christmas tree card you want to create.

Now grab your brown cardstock and cut out a rectangular tree trunk shape.

Using glue dots, glue down the handprint Christmas tree and the tree trunk piece underneath it to the front of the card.

Grab your rhinestones. Have children place glue dots on the back of each rhinestone and then place them in the center of the "handprint tree" to give it a personalized ornament look.

Once your child has the look they like, cut out a small simple star from the yellow cardstock and add it to the top of your tree. At this point, you can either add more customization or go straight to personalizing the inside so you can mail it right away. Don't forget to add your child's name and age on the Christmas tree card, so the receiver will always know when it was made!

Happy Crafting!
