We are loving the ShinHanart Touch Liners for a variety of reasons. The ink in Touch Liners is acid free, water-resistant, smearproof, and lightfast. Plus, they are available in Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Brown and come in a variety of nib sizes.
Use them for sketching, coloring small details, as I did in the video above, creating fine line cross hatch shading, lettering or as an every day pen for your planner or bullet journal.
They work beautifully with ShinHanart TOUCH TWIN markers because they won't bleed or smear when used together. You can draw your design and fill it in with the markers without the colors running.
When I saw how small the tips of the Touch Liners pens are, I immediately thought they would be great for filling in tiny areas of stamped images. I created a card using this adorable stamp from Altenew to try it out and the pens worked perfectly for both coloring and cross hatching in small areas!
Step 1: Stamp your image using clear embossing ink.
Step 2: Sprinkle with embossing powder and tap off excess.
Step 3: Heat set using an embossing heat tool.
Step 4: Use the ShinHan Touch Liners to color in the sections of your image. I used several colors for each animal and added lines to some of the colored in sections in a contrasting color.
Step 5: Stamp desired sentiment using black ink.
Step 6: Mount card front onto a folded card.
