Faber Castell Gelatos and Heat Embossing

Hi there! Laurel Beard here to share with you the first of many videos showcasing the Faber Castell Gelatos! I just love these little guys. I would describe them as creamy little chapsticks! They are so much fun to work with and there are a ton of ways to use them and I'll be showing you lots of them in the comings days. Today I thought I would start with one of the basics.... I created a heat embossed background so you could really see the gelatos in action and see just how easy they are to use. I've created a video showcasing you how I made this card:

Stamp background with striped background stamp using Versamark ink and then heat set with clear embossing powder. When you apply the gelatos, the heat embossed background will "resist" the gelatos...

Begin to apply the gelatos directly to the card panel. Use as many or as few colors as you want. Simply spread them on like chapstick... You have two options to blend. You can blend with your finger (the gelatos react to the oils in your fingers) or in this case, I used a damp wet wipe.

Allow to dry. Heat set a sentiment and adhere to a card base! By why list step by step instructions when I've got a video to show you just how fun these little guys are. Like I mentioned before, this is just a first of many videos I'll be creating. Thanks for joining us today!
