Ahhh, the first week of January. I love a fresh start, setting new goals, updating my planner, and reflecting on the year that just ended. With that being said, that first Monday coming off of the holiday weekend was kinda rough! Let's just say I was not loving my 5:30am alarm. I am sure many of you felt my pain. Mondays can always be a little rough for some people, which is why we decided to start a weekly Periscope Series, 3 Things to Make this Week. We do this every Monday morning at 9:30am Central time to help people kick off the week with some crafty ideas. We basically show you 3 projects while chatting live with everyone who has joined in. After we show all 3 projects you can vote for your favorite. We then link all of the projects right here on our Blog so you can try the ideas out yourself. It's a lot of fun! If you'd like to join us tomorrow make sure you follow us on Periscope.
The theme of this week was Planners. Specifically, easy DIY Planner Accessories. Meghan did a bunch of videos showing how you can make your own Planner Pockets, Happy Planner Inserts, pretty Binder Clips, Paper Clips, and even more! We also launched some really great Planner deals. Right now the MAMBI Create 365 Happy Planners are 60% off! That's the planner I am currently using. I love that it is so customizable and the layout works really well for me. I know there are some new add-on's being introduced to the line this year as well, which means I'll for sure be adding to my collection :)
On Tuesday of this week we had a special guest join us for Live with Blitsy - Mr. Ken Oliver himself! He's actually launching a ton of new products at the CHA Show right now and we got the very first sneak peek. I am in LOVE with the new Color Burst colors he shared with us. If you missed the live broadcast you can catch the replay on our YouTube channel.
The other big theme of the week is CHA! If you aren't familiar, CHA is the largest trade show in the industry where all of the companies release their new products for the year. I am actually typing this up while preparing to go into the show! We are doing live broadcasts on Facebook (yep, LIVE on Facebook) as well as filming videos in a lot of the popular booths to share the new releases on our YouTube Channel. We've already started adding videos there, so make sure to check them out!
