The Sunday Snapshot - Jan 31, 2016

Posted by Katy Weade

Hey guys!

It's the last day of January already....EEK! How did that happen?! Time is flying by so fast. With so much jammed into each week at Blitsy, it's no wonder it flies by! That is exactly why I started this blog post series this month. I'm using my Sundays to reflect on the past week, review everything we did, and prep for the week to come. Thanks for taking a few minutes to check in with me here each week! So, let's take a look at what you might have missed this week at Blitsy...

Videos of the Week

We updated our YouTube trailer video this week! This is the very first video that anybody new will see when they reach our channel. Meghan and I did a rare thing and got dolled up with makeup :) We thought we should try to put our best foot forward if we want people to subscribe! What do you think of the video?

Also, once again there was no shortage of Valentine's Day inspiration! Here are some of the new Valentine's Day projects we shared.

I wish my husband drank coffee so I could make him one of those mugs! I may take that idea and make them for my parents instead. Have you guys figured out your Valentine's Day crafting yet? Let me know in the comments!

There were a few more videos this week as well. Claudia was channeling the Superbowl with these super easy Football Snack Cones, the perfect Super Bowl Party Craft!

We also have a few videos that match up to some of the Blitsy sales going on right now. Blitsy Creative Team member, Carisa, always blows me away with her talent. Check out her Watercolor Art Canvas With Prima Bloom Girl. Amazing, right? You can find a ton of posts from Carisa on the Blitsy blog, but you might also want to check out her blog, Inky Fairy Designs. It's full of wonderful inspiration!

Those are all of the videos I'll link here for today. There were even more than that this week! If you want to see them all make sure to visit our YouTube channel. We're busy over there!

Live with Blitsy

Reminder! Every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am CST we broadcast LIVE from our studio. We do anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour demoing Blitsy products, showing how to use things and sharing project ideas. It is usually Meghan and I hosting, while Emily mans the chat with all of you. This week Meghan was out sick (darn pregnancy allergies!), so Claudia jumped in and saved the day! It was a good reminder that very soon Meghan will be out on maternity leave and I need to put a gameplan in place for the Live broadcasts. The show must go on, but I'll miss my buddy when she's out!

ps - for those who were on our Periscope Friday afternoon...Potty training with Miles is going pretty well! Yesterday was a little tough, but we've seemed to have turned a corner today :) We literally took a ride on the "potty train" Saturday morning and left his diapers behind. I'm a proud momma!
