The Sunday Snapshot - Feb 21, 2016

Well, well, well....another week in the books planner! What a week it was. Were you able to catch any of the great deals we've had going on? Here are a few of my personal favs. I will narrow it down to 3 for time's sake :)

1. The Happy Planner $5 Sale is slated to end tonight. I am going to see if we can extend it again, but just in case, you better get one (or two) while you can! These planners are 18 months and started in July. So, they still have 10 full months of usage left in them. Again, this deal is worth it for the rings alone. Plus, you can reuse the cover as your Happy Planner collection grows! We talked about ways you can repurpose the past months during Live with Blitsy this week, also. Make sure to check out the replay!

$5 Happy Planners

2. John Bead Global Chic Collection: When Meghan walked in the other day with a new necklace on we ALL asked her about it. She made it with the new John Bead Global Chic Collection! Luckily for all of us she made a video to show us how.

3. Creative Books for Kids: This sale jumped out at me this week because I think any of these books would be a great addition to any child's Easter basket! Rather than fill it up with tons of candy, put something in there that will be fun and encourage creativity! I especially love this Zentangle for Kids book, which shows how to use patterns for art and doodling. There are a bunch of different books to choose from, though.

This Week on the Blog

This week on the blog I loved Heidi's post which tells you all about what you need to get started knitting. Did you know you can get started knitting for less than $10? She lays out the supplies you need (and then of course you can watch our free knitting videos to get you going!) --want more from Heidi? check out her blog when you get a sec

Did you catch this super cute (and easy!) card from Dana? She keeps it simple with one cute critter and some easy coloring with copics!
(ps - don't forget to check out more clean and simple cards from Dana over on her blog!)

Next up is a distressed necklace from Adrianne. I just love, love, love how easy she makes jewelry making! I really want to recreate what she did here. Who's with me?

And last but not least for the Blog this week - we had Kim share a post showing How to make mixed media Butterfly Wall Art. I love that Kim had originally planned this as an art journal page, but it took on a life of its own and ended up off the page and on the wall!

Between all of those blog posts and the amazing videos we posted this week, there is sure to be something here to inspire you! We'll be at it again this week with new posts every day! If you can please try to drop by one of our live broadcasts. Tomorrow we'll be doing 3 Things to Make this Week on Periscope at 9:30am CST (and then again on Facebook immediately after). Then on Tuesday & Thursday at 10am CST we will be Live with Blitsy on our site! We'll have some GREAT stuff to show off this week (Hint: brutus monroe, new color burst, prima watercolor coloring book...)

Happy Crafting!
