Feature Friday: All Things Heart & Home

DIY & home decor lover Robin of All Things Heart & Home chats with us about her blog & favorite projects.

Do you love decorating for the season, DIY home decor, and entertaining friends and family? Then you're going to love All Things Heart & Home. This week's Feature Friday is Atlanta-based Robin Gay, whose blog is dedicated to encouraging others to find inspiration for what matters most. We chatted with her about her favorite projects, her love of DIY, and her crafting go-to.

Tell us about All Things Heart And Home and how you got started.
I believe everything I do in my home is a reflection of my heart. My projects are really a means to an end, the end being- that family and friends feel loved and welcome when they come to our house. I started my blog as place to share my DIY projects, craft projects, seasonal decorating and entertaining ideas and maybe inspire someone else.

What was the first thing you ever made?

When I was in 6th grade I made a 3D decoupage project! I glued a pretty card onto a piece of wood and then cut out pieces of the picture from an identical card and glued them (raised up) over the same images in the 1st card! I felt so proud and I remember thinking ...art class is SO much more interesting than Math! That was the end of my good grades in Math but the beginning of a life-long love of creativity!

What is your favorite project that you have done so far and why?
I love my Mason Jar Light - I made if for our screen porch and it reminds me of catching fireflies as a child...also, it's SO easy...anyone can make it!

What craft product you can not live without?
My go-to craft product is paint! It's also my go-to DIY product! I paint everything.

Cats or Dogs?
Both...My husband Mike and I are big animal lovers...if we had lots of land we'd have a farm!

Thanks for chatting with us Robin!
