This To That: Paper Daffodil Embellished Gift Box

Posted by Meghan Quinones
Why cut out paper flowers on your own when you can use a die instead! Come see how gorgeous paper daffodils can be atop a gift box!

If you love paper flowers, today's "This To That" is right up your alley!

Spellbinders has an entire line of paper flower dies. Yep, that's right you can create your own secret garden using just dies! The flower dies come in different designs from Orchids, to Panseys, to Hydrangeas. Once you cut your flowers, all you need to do is assemble and curl the petals to create the dimension. Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die D-Lites cut, emboss and stencil with a single die templatee and can be used in most leading die-cut machines. You can add your flowers to cards, scrapbook pages and mixed media projects!

You may remember a while back I did a post on 12 DIY Kraft Paper Gift Wrap Ideas. I found so many creative ideas showing how to transform plain kraft wrapping paper into gorgeous gift wrap. I love seeing all of the clever ideas people come up to take their gifts to the next level (and make the rest of us look bad when we shoe up with our gift in a store bought bag). When I came across this perfectly wrapped gift by Yana I was in awe. She had created, in my mind, the perfect gift. The daffodils she added to the top of her package where created with the Spellbinder's Daffodil Flower Die. Below her daffodils, she added a grey diagonal stripe patterned paper along with Want 2 Scrap pearls and a pretty ribbon. I would LOVE if I were the recipient of this gem. :)
