Planners aren't just a place to store your important to-dos, they're also a place to display your creativity. There are stickers, clips, and stamps made just for planners. One question we get pretty often here at Blitsy is: "What inks can I use in my planner?". Some inks work better on planner pages, while others bleed through. You definitely do not want to pick the wrong ink and potentially ruin one of your spreads!
Since this question comes up so frequently, I thought it was time to do a little test to see what inks did the best in some of the popular planners here at Blitsy. For my test, I used a Happy Planner, Color Crush planner, Carpe Diem planner, and a My Prima Planner. I thought it would be cool to see how the different types of ink pads worked on the different brands of planner pages. Speaking of inks, I used a dye ink from StazOn, a Colorbox pigment ink, a Tim Holtz Distress Ink, and a VersaMagic Chalk Ink. I found dye inks and distress inks are a no-no as they both tend to bleed through planner pages. Pigment inks worked pretty, but had a longer drying time. The VersaMagic Chalk Inks were the true winner! These chalk inks did not bleed or show through and they had a quicker dry time than the pigments inks! Check out the video below to see the full test and results.
