Need to make a quick and easy Valentine's Day card perfect for your guy? With only a few supplies you can make one in no time flat.
First crease a piece of cardstock down the middle with a bone folder to make sure your stamping on the front panel only. I stamp the container in the ground espresso distress ink and blend it carefully with my waterbrush.
Next I use the masking sheet to mask off my container. Now I can stamp my cactus in the mowed lawn distress ink and remove the mask. My cactus now sits perfectly in my container. I again use my waterbrush to blend my color.
To ground my container on my paper, I used the worn lipstick ink and made a line for my container to sit on. This will help my image from "floating" on the paper. I spread my color out again using my waterbrush. This is a super easy technique to ground images on your card.
What is a valentine's card without a heart? I die cut the adorable heart out of red cardstock and used foam tape to pop it up on my cactus. I added on some glossy accents to make it nice and shiny. After stamping the sentiment in black ink, my card was complete. I set my card aside to dry before folding it on the crease line. A super quick and easy Valentine's Day card!
Since this card is so simple, you can easily mass produce them in no time flat. Now that the card is done I'm sure your Valentine will be thrilled with the lovely card they are getting.
