There are dozens of paper sizes and cardstock options out there, but for the purpose of crafting, we've narrowed it down to the ones you really need to know about. This paper size chart displays the six most popular craft paper sizes: A4, A5, A7, A6, A2, and the 4 Bar card size.

Common Uses for Paper Sizes:

A4 Paper Size
A4 or US Letter paper size is 8.5" x 11" and is commonly used for letters, brochures, business documents, or flyers.

A5 Paper Size
A5 paper is 5.5" x 8.5" and is most often used by folding into greeting cards, flyers, or oversized invitations.

A7 Paper Size
A7 paper is 5" x7" and is the classic paper size for wedding invitations, party invitations, menus, and save-the-date cards.

A6 Paper Size
A6 paper is 4.5" x 6.25" and is generally used for postcards, menus cards, wedding direction cards, or sometimes as stationary.

A2 Paper Size
A2 paper is 4.25" x 5.5" and is the most common paper size for fold-over notes and thank you cards. Interestingly, if you cut A4 paper in fourths you get A2!

4 Bar Card Size
4 Bar paper is 3.5" x 4.875" and is typically used for response cards. 4 Bar is the smallest size card you can mail through the US postal service.
