How many times a day do see or take a selfie? I feel like I see hundreds of them everyday. Whether on Instagram, Facebook, or the driver in the car next to me taking one, Selfies are everywhere. I decided it was high time I took some of myself, so that’s what I did. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good selfie, I just haven’t been taking them lately and wanted to change that. To document this photo I turned to my tried and true technique of creating a watercolor background. I have used many, many different watercolor mediums and papers and I have found my love in the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set coupled with the Canson 9x12 Watercolor Paper Pad, it is a fabulous duo. The Canson watercolor paper is the perfect color as well, it is not quite white and not quite cream, I use it all the time even if I am not adding watercolor, but, let's be real, when am I not adding watercolor? :)

The Maggie Holmes Shine Collection was a no brainer to add color, and super fun embellishments to this project. I love the addition of the tassel on the bobby pin from Dear Lizzy, I feel it is pretty unique and slightly unexpected in my album. It is such a fun thing when products take you outside your box and inspire you while working on a project.
