There are so many ways to let people know you are thinking about them. One of my favorites is to leave a little 'happy.' A 'happy' is just a little surprise that lets that special person know you care. I do this for my loved ones quite often and one of the ways is to leave a little note for them. I stick them on the bathroom mirror for my husband or in his briefcase. Leave one on the counter at a friend's house or slip one into my mom's purse when she comes to the house.

These little 'happies' are super cute 3x3 cards that are so quick and easy to make. I usually pull out my supplies and envelope maker and make several at one time. I tend to do this assembly style, making all the envelopes at once, then the card bases, and finally add some stamping and embellishing. It is a great way to use up scrap bits of pattern paper, 6x6 paper pads and extra embellishments you may have laying on your work space.

I am one of those overzealous crafters who lean toward pulling out every stamp and ink I have to play with. For a project like this I like to limit myself to a few key supplies. A couple of versatile stamp sets, a great black ink, a fun colored ink and a few papers and bits and pieces.
