Gather all your supplies so you are not running around looking for product to quickly make your card. If you have the time make two cards so you'll have a spare for later. You can also change the design of your card too while still using the same products.
First you will need to stamp your image on ultra smooth cardstock. I use Memento Tuxedo Black ink because it is Copic friendly and won't bleed. I chose this adorable image from Paper Smooches. Paper Smooches has some of the cutest images for fun critter cards. They are also very easy to color.
Next I've colored my image with Copic markers. Using Copic markers gives me the chance to blend my colors and allows my image to really come to life. They are a perfect tool for coloring. Since you are coloring, print out a few of these images and colored them all at one time. This way you'll have a few images already colored to add a card.
Once my image is colored and ready to be placed on a card, I grab some colorful and happy paper from Doodlebug Designs. Oh this paper pad is one of my favorites. So many happy colors and designs. Since you are coloring, print out a few of these images and colored them all at one time. This way you'll have a few images already colored to add a card.
Since the paper is so colorful, you don't need to add much more to your card. I picked some pretty baker's twine and tied it in a bow on the top of my panel. Now you could use gems, or sequins or buttons to add the final touches to your card. Make it your own style.
Now that your card is complete you are going to look like a super hero yourself. LOL Making cards should not be difficult, it should be fun. Sharing your creativity with others is what makes your cardmaking journey successful and fun!
