How to Make Blue & Brass Cap Earrings
Here's what you'll need:
- 12mm round glass beads
- Vintaj Brass Head Pins
- Vintaj Brass Bead Caps
- Vintaj Brass Earring Wires
- Round Nose Pliers
- Chain Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutters
Begin by adding a bead cap, cup side up to a brass head pin. Stack a round 12mm bead on top, and then finish with a second bead cap, cup side down.
Grip the head pin with your round pliers just above the bead. Wrap the end of the wire head pin around one side of your round pliers, forming a loop. Then, wrap the wire around the pin under the loop you formed. It must only be coiled once around the pin to be secure, but your jewelry will look best if you continue to wrap until the entire space between the loop and the top of the bead is filled.
To finish, twist the ring at the bottom of the earring wire open with your chain nose pliers, and slide the loop of the bead charm you just made onto the earring wire. Twist the loop closed again.
Repeat the steps to make your second earring and finish the pair!
