Hello, creative friends!

Winter is approaching and it's definitely a good time of year to think about doing nice things for friends and family. I have found that a little handmade goodie bag in the winter always goes a long way when given to a friend. And for me, making little treats or cards for others always seems to lift my winter blues! Whether you are crafting little gifts for the holidays, or making something for a friend just because, this little plaid goodie bag is sure to be well-received.

Supplies to Make Your Goodie Bag

To get started, first trim your plaid paper down to 12"x6". Create your goodie bag with the We R Memory Gift Bag Punch Board using the instructions printed on the board.

Assemble your goodie bag using your hot glue gun and glue sticks.

I made three goodie bags, but you can make as many as you like! You should be able to get two goodie bags for each 12"x12" sheet of paper. I did not punch holes for goodie bag handles on mine, but you can if you want to!

Next, take your black paper tags and chalkboard pen, and write the word "joy" or any other holiday phrase you like. These would be cute with customized names as well!

Fill your goodie bag with treats, then staple your black gift tag to each bag.

Adhere silver sequins, and other other desired embellishments.

That's it! This little goodie bag takse just a few minutes to make, and I love how it looks with that trendy plaid paper!
