Where are all of the happy mamas at? I love my kids dearly, but Summer was about to do me in! Trying to plan things that are fun everyday, and keeping everyone happy is so hard when you work from home. I sometimes have to remind myself to slow down, take a deep breath and live in the moment. That's why today's layout has photos from last year. As I send my kids off to 4th, 1st and Pre-K this year, I love looking back at these photos and seeing how they have changed.

Here's what you'll need:
Cardstock- American Crafts 12x12 Summer Pack
K & Co Trend 12x12 Specialty Paper Pad
Echo Park Jack and Jill 12x12 sticker
Tombow MONO permanent adhesive
Fiskars paper trimmer
Fiskars Amplify scissors
Choose the pieces to use. I chose Patterned paper, cardstock, and wood veneers. I also created a die cut and chose my (3) 4x4 photos.
Next up, place the patterned paper along the right side of the layout. The piece on this layout is trimmed to 4". Then layer your (3)4x4 photos from top to bottom on a piece of white cardstock trimmed down to 4-1/4"x12."
Create two banners from red cardstock. These pieces are 1/2"x10".
Place the die cut alphabet and journal spot on the left side of the layout. Use only a little bit of adhesive on the back since it will later get sewn in place.
To keep the page nice and balanced, create clusters of embellishments in a triangle on the whole page. Odd groupings always work the best. Below you can see the grouping near the title. Check out all of the little details below:
I love the boldness of this layout with the large die cut on the side, and strip of photos on the other. Take your layouts to the next level by adding bold elements!
