Freshen Up Your Decor With DecoArt Metallics
Jennifer Snyder here today to show you how to transform your decor from drab, dark and dull to fun, fresh and fabulous with a few simple steps. I chose DecoArt Metallic Lustres to help with my projects.
These are easy to use and take a few moments. They also dry quickly and do not feel waxy to the touch when dry. There are only two steps to the process.
Step 1. Apply with a soft cloth
Step 2. Buff to shine.
Well three steps actually - the third step is "stepping back" and seeing your gorgeous refreshed project.

Example 1. Metal Vase Using DecoArt Metallic Lustre - Champagne Ice
I purchased an inexpensive vase at a thrift store. Underneath all the dark black aging tarnish were gorgeous intricate designs just waiting to pop out again. DecoArt wax finish in Champagne Ice was perfect to help revive this 'ol vase.
I grabbed a soft rag and started rubbing. You can see the results up against the old tarnish.
Example 2. Wood Picture Frame Using DecoArt Metallic Lustre - Silver Spark
This is a dark wooden frame that would look amazing with some brighter silver accents. DecoArt Metallic Lustre - Silver Spark was applied with a soft cloth and then buffed.
Example 3. Metal Trinket Jewelry Piece Using DecoArt Metallic Lustre - Copper Kettle
This is a metal owl trinket that was given a copper look by using DecoArt Metallic Lustre - Copper Kettle.
