The holidays are here! We all know this time of year can become chaotic and overwhelming with shopping to do, cards to make, gifts to wrap, meals to cook...but don't stress because, these holiday Zenbroidery kits by Design Works Crafts are the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of the season. These beautiful embroidery patterns are printed on fabric and ready for you to the color with thread. The only extra you need to grab to get started is an embroidery hoop, the other necessary supplies are packaged for you with easy-to-understand guides making it the perfect way to relax and express your creativity!

The embroidery patterns (I chose this fun snowman) are black and white coloring book-style images stamped onto fabric. You "color in" the picture with floss, beads and sequins from the trim pack (sold separately). What makes Zenbroidery fun is that there are no rules for stitching the image. You treat the embroidery patterns like a coloring book and select whatever colors and stitches inspire you to create your own unique piece.

The finished embroidery patterns can then be used to create a pillow, as I did with mine, displayed in an embroidery hoop as decor or framed as a work of art. It makes a wonderful handmade gift or if you know a crafty person who would enjoy making their own, the embroidery patterns make for one-of-a-kind gifts--and they fit perfectly in stockings!
