The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The entire month is devoted to increasing awareness of the disease that effects so many. It's a reminder that early detection is key.
If you know someone that is fighting their own battle, here is a card to send their way to show them you care and you are behind them 100% of the way. Sometimes all it takes is a thoughtful gesture, something simple that can totally make someones day. A card is an easy way to send a little encouragement. Who doesn't love heading to the mailbox and finding something other than a bill? I know I do!
I was given the Rollagraph 'Hope' stamp along with the Pinkalicious Ink. I knew I wanted to incorporate the iconic pink ribbon pattern into a card. I ran my stamp over a piece of white cardstock a few times and then cut my paper down to fit my card base. I backed my design with a simple piece of pink patterned paper. I really wanted the main focus of my card to be the pink ribbon design from my Rollagragh, which is why I covered a good portion of my card base with it. To add a little texture, I glued a ribbon to the top of my design and added a bow. To finish my card, I added the word 'Hope'. This sentiment sends the recipient encouragement that you back them and to never give up!
