DIY Valentine's Day Themed Notepad

Get organized with a DIY dressed-up notepad! This is the perfect Valentine's Day craft for the listmaker you love.

Happy February, friends! As you know, the beginning of the year is all about organization! And guess what...organization can totally be cute and crafty too. ;)

I have been needing a few notebooks around the house to help me get organized, so I decided to start with a fun little paper pad where I could write down lists of things I need to get done. You know, like groceries, chores for the kids, and errands. I found this adorable DIY Shop notepad on Blitsy, so of course I had to bling it up!

To get started you need:

  • DIY Shop To Do List Notepad
  • We R Memory Keepers Clearly Posh Acetate Pad
  • We R Memory Keepers Clearly Posh Acetate Ephemera
  • American Crafts Gold Doilies
  • Adhesive Dots
  • Tape Runner
  • Black Cardstock
  • White Cardstock

To get started, you are first going to measure your notepad, and cut your black cardstock to size so it overlaps about one inch on the top. Next, cut your white cardstock down to size so it fits on the front.

Use your adhesive to adhere the black and white cardstock together, and then to the back of your notepad. After that, you can choose your favorite Clearly Bold Acetate paper pattern, and adhere that to the top as well.

Wrap a single gold doily to the top of your notebook, followed by whatever ephemera you love.

I layered some of the Clearly Bold Ephemera using a few simple adhesive pop-dots.

I kept mine simple, but use as many embellishments as you like!

That's it! Now your trendy little notepad is ready to keep you organized all year long!
