DIY Spring Floral Washi Tape Gift Tags
Use some of your washi tape stash to dress up your next present! Learn how to make gift tags with Maggie Holmes washi tape packs.
Hello, friends! Warmer weather is approaching, and I think it's time to start thinking spring! I need some bright colors in my life. It's been a loooong winter!
These new stickers and washi-tape from Maggie Holmes are the perfect spring fix for all your paper crafting projects. They were the perfect solution for my little gift boxes, and were super easy to craft with!
To make your own spring inspired gift tags, you will need the following:
- Maggie Holmes Washi Booklet
- Maggie Holmes Bloom Thicker Stickers
- Crate Paper Wonder Glittered Cardstock
- We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punchboard
- Paper Tags
I already had some pre-made tags on hand, but you can totally make your own. Just cut white cardstock to 2.5"x4".
Ready to get started?
First, use the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punchboard to make a gift box with your glitter cardstock. Just follow the included instructions, and customize your gift box to whatever size you need.
Next, decorate your tags with the Maggie Holmes washi tape book. There are tons of patterns and colors to choose from! Layer the washi-tape on your tag starting at the bottom.
I like to layer my tags, then trim off the excess on the sides with scissors.
Next, use the sticker embellishments to decorate your tags. Use foam adhesive dots to give your stickers some dimension.
There are tons of fun stickers in this collection, so don't feel like you have to make your tags just like mine!
Last step! Tie your tags onto your gift boxes with ribbon. See! Super easy.
I can't wait to use these to give little treats to friends. I always need little gift boxes to cheer people up! I think a friend would love receiving this. I know I would!
These tags would be great for a card, scrapbook page, or home decor too! Have fun and be creative. The washi-tape is so easy to use, you will come up with all kinds of patterns and pretty projects.
Hopefully you are getting a peek of spring at your house too!
