Happy fall, friends!

It's still warm weather here in Kentucky, but we have definitely pulled out the plaid! Speaking of plaid, this new plaid paper from Bazzill is my FAVORITE. Bazzill has always been known for quality paper, and this new line of plaid colors does not disappoint. It's perfect for embellishing goodies this fall with paper plaid bows! I can't wait to use more in future crafts!

To make these plaid inspired treat boxes, here's what you need:

  • Bazzill Plaid Cardstock 12"X12"-Sugar Wafer
  • Bazzill Plaid Cardstock 12"X12"-Wax Lips
  • Popcorn Boxes-White 3.75"X2.25"X5.25"
  • Dear Lizzy Bow Die
  • Die cut machine
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Treat Boxes
  • Gray Ribbon
  • Cellophane

To get started, first use your die cut machine and the Dear Lizzy bow/prize ribbon dies to cut the Bazzill plaid cardstock. Since I made multiple treat boxes, I cut some in red, and some in gray. You can do them all the same color if that's easier.

Assemble your paper bows using your adhesive. Tip: sometimes it helps to use scissors to curl the sides of the bow before you fold and glue it.

Attach the bow to your die cut circle. You can use the same patterned paper, or mix it up like I did.

Use your adhesive to attach the bow to your treat box. These little boxes are really easy to assemble, you basically just pop them open!

Fill your goodie boxes with a treat, and tie the cellophane closed with ribbon.

Adhere the "Hooray" tag to the ribbon.

That's it! So easy, and such a fun gift for fall!
