DIY Neon Pop Cuff

Posted by Meghan Quinones

If you need to whip up a quick accessory, this statement cuff is a must!

I am a huge fan of statement necklaces. In my opinion, the brighter and bolder, the better! In an effort to stop neglecting my wrists, I decided to embrace the statement bracelet trend. It's time for my wrist to be in the spotlight for once!

I went through all of our Cousin Neon Pop goodies to create this design. At first, I just grabbed the cuff along with the rhinestone bracelet. After looking at my combo for a few minutes, I felt like it was missing something. It needed color! I went back and grabbed the mint silk cord to use as a hint of color. I ended up wrapping my silk cord around my chain, which was SUPER easy! After I wrapped the cord around my chain, all I did was glue my bracelet to my cuff. And just like that, a statement bracelet was born!

Which do you prefer: statement necklaces, statement earrings, statement bracelets, or do you love all of them?

Here's what you'll need:

  • Neon Pop Gold Metal Cuff
  • Neon Pop Mint Satin Cord
  • E6000 Glue
  • Scissors
  • Neon Pop Metal Chain With Rhinestones

Let's get crafty!

Cut a long piece of silk cord. You will want enough to cut enough to wrap around the entire length of your rhinestone bracelet. Tie a knot at one en of your bracelet along the chain part and add a drop of glue to secure the knot.

Begin wrapping your silk cord through all of the chain links on your bracelet. When you get to the last link, tie a knot and add a drop of glue to secure.

Cover the back of your bracelet with a generous amount of glue.

Glue your bracelet to the top center of your cuff. You will want to hold it for a bit to make sure it adheres to your cuff.
