Add dimension this St Patrick's Day with shamrock decorations perfect for your party!

Hello friends! I am sooo excited about this project. I am kinda new to honeycomb paper, and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. You can cut shapes that are so simple, but have this big wow factor too. I think I am going to have to start using it for every holiday as party decor! I'm am going to show you how easy it is to create these shamrock decorations that are perfect for your wall!

To make a St. Patrick's Day shamrock sign for your party decor, here's what you need:

Ready to get started? First you are going to draw a heart shape on your honeycomb paper. Mine is about 2.5"x5", but you can make it as small or large as you want depending on your sign.

Cut out your heart shape, and use it as a template to trace and cut three more. You can make a three or four leaf clover. I cut four because.... well, I need the luck. ;)

Next, arrange your four shamrock leaves on your glitter cardstock, and adhere them to the paper surface.

It helps to glue down one side, then fold over the honeycomb paper and glue the other side. Glue all four sides down, being careful not to crease the honeycomb paper.

After gluing all of your shamrock leaves down, use a scrap of green cardstock to create a shamrock stem and adhere it to the cardstock.

After putting everything together, adhere your shamrock to a stick or twig with twine. If you don't want to hang your shamrock, you can easily put it in a frame without glass as well. It has such fun depth and texture from the honeycomb paper!

I can't wait to make more projects with the new We R Memory Keepers Honeycomb Paper! I hope you guys love making shamrock decorations as much as I do!
