DIY Holiday Clipboard Decor
Celebrate the season with this trendy decor idea!
Happy December, friends! Wow, the holidays got here fast this year! I have been working on some gift for friends, and this is a great solution if you are getting short on time! Clipboards are just so trendy right now, and I love that you can now find them in GOLD! Soooo pretty. With a clipboard, and just a few Christmas paper supplies and embellishments, you can easily throw together some fabulous gifts for friends.
Here's what you need to get started:
- Christmas paper and accessories kit
- Pebbles Gold Stripe Clipboard
- DIY Home Chunky Glittered Chipboard Die-Cuts
- Adhesive pop-dots
- Tape Runner
First, choose the patterned paper that you want to use from the Christmas pack. I love this floral and ombre pattern!
Next, adhere the patterned paper to your clipboard using your tape runner.
Find the word "Sparkle" from the DIY Home Chunky Glittered Chipboard Die-Cuts, and adhere it on top of your paper.
Next, adhere ribbon to the clipboard. I used this fun die-cut gold ribbon, but you can totally use whatever you have on hand.
Last step... embellish! Use the stickers that came in the Christmas paper pack to write the word "Christmas", and decorate your clipboard. You can make yours just like mine, or get creative and do your own thing!
If you want a little dimension, use the adhesive pop-dots to raise up the embellishments and stickers. It will really give some your embellishments some depth.
That's it! Such a pretty holiday color palette. I think my friend is going to LOVE it!
Man, I really love clipboards. They are just so easy to embellish, hang, and decorate your home with. I think I may just need to make a New Years version next! ;)
