Happy fall friends! I love fall, but I especially love Halloween! You can never have too many Halloween decorations, dontcha think?? I try to add something new to my fall decor every year, and this year I thought I would make a banner that I can use for both decorating my house, and for a party!

To create this festive Halloween banner, all you need is the following:

  • We R Memory Keepers Doily Punch
  • Crate Paper After Dark pumpkin stickers
  • Black cardstock
  • White cardstock
  • Black ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Paper trimmer
  • Tape runner

To get started, first trim your black and white cardstock to six inch pieces. The We R Doily punch comes in a variety of patterns, all creating punched doily's from 6" pieces of paper.

Take your six inch trimmed cardstock, and punch all four corners. Each banner pennant requires one black and one white doily.

After you have punched all four sides, flip your banner upside down, and punch the four remaining corners. You will notice it's starting to take shape!

That's it! Super easy. I have found on the We R doily punches, it is always good to clean out the paper bits that fall out each time you punch a doily. This is one of those kinds of punches that you want to clean out often. It only takes about a minute to make each doily, so they punch out really fast!

After you have punched all of the paper doilies you need, fold one white and one black doily in half. Adhere your ribbon inside the white folded doily, and then glue it inside a black doily. Repeat along your piece of ribbon until you have the desired length that you want.

When you are done with your banner, embellish it with the Crate Paper After Dark pumpkin stickers. You can use any kind of embellishment to make this same banner for other holidays too!

So cute! I LOVE how it turned out!

I am going to hang my banner on my front door, but I think I will may another one to line our front walkway for trick-our-treaters this year. I can easily pop off the pumpkins too, and reuse the same banner for other holidays like New Years or Valentine's Day. I love projects that I can use year-round!

I hope you have a fabulous fall friends, and enjoy all that seasonal crafting!

XOXOXO
