Transform a boring pen with a feather and glitter tape!

What happens when you pair a pen, a feather, and glitter ribbon tape together? You get a whimsical feather pen! Because sometimes a plain old pen won't do!

When you see feathers, you probably think of Halloween costumes and kids crafts. Well, think again! You can take Indian feathers and turn them into fancy pens to use at a wedding, any special event that has a guestbook, or you can use it everyday! You can whip these lovely pens up in less than 10 minutes!

Where would you use your feathers pens?

Here's what you'll need:

- Midwest Designs Indian Feathers (I used the Black Indian Feathers)
- Pen
- Glitter Ribbon Tape
- Washi Tape
- Scissors

Let's get crafty!

Step 1: Cut the bottom of your feather in half.

Step 2: Trim the bottom of your feathers down a 1/4 inch.

Step 3: Start wrapping your washi tape around the area where you cut your feathers.

Step 4: Continue wrapping your washi tape down your pen until the end of your feather is completely tapped to your pen.

Step 5: Wrap your ribbon tape around the top part of your pen, over your washi tape.

Step 6: Continue wrapping your ribbon tape down your pen, all the way to the bottom.
