Happy fall, creative friends! It finally feels like it has arrived! I made these fun little goodie bags for some friends at work, and I just had to share how I made them. They only took a few minutes to make, and the trendy little Pink Paislee canvas banners were a huge hit!

Here's what you need to get started:

  • Pink Paislee Outfitters Canvas Banners BL290905
  • Martha Stewart Double Edge Punch BC00008781
  • Orange Scrapbook Paper
  • Red Scrapbook Paper
  • Goodie Bags
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive Runner

First cut your orange cardstock into 2"x6" strips. Then cut the red cardstock into 2.25x6" strips. You can adjust the length depending on whether you want your paper scraps to go around the whole treat sack, or just layer it on the front.

Punch your orange pieces with your Martha Stewart paper punch. Layer it on top of the red paper, and adhere it together with your adhesive runner.

Adhere your paper to the top portion of your goodie bag. Add twine around your punched paper, and tie with a bow.

Insert a Pink Paislee Outfitters banner in between the twine and punched paper. Add a small dab of adhesive on the back of each one so it stays in place. There are four in a pack, and they are all slightly different. Just pick the ones that are your favorites! I love how they are each different fun and trendy designs.

Last step! Just fill with your favorite treats and some tissue paper. I placed yummy oversized chocolate chip cookies in mine, and they were well received!
