DIY Cupcake Toppers
Use pretty patterned paper to create easy DIY cupcake toppers!
Hello, creative friends! I am so excited to show off one of my most favorite paper lines. It's the Pink Paislee Paige Evans Fancy Free collection, and it's one of my favorites right now for paper crafting. I had the change to meet and hang out with Paige, and that girls is TALENTED. Her collection is full of stitching and painting inspiration, which is such a good representation of how creative she is. I can't wait to see what else she comes out with! When I saw her Fancy Free Collection I knew I wanted to create DIY cupcake toppers. The colors and playful sayings were perfect!
To make these pretty DIY cupcake toppers, you only need a few supplies! Here's what you need to get started:
To get started, first use scissors to cut out the circle embellishments from the patterned cardstock. You can also use a circle paper punch if that is easier for you! Don't worry about cutting perfect circles. This patterned paper looks great with imperfections. :)
Next, adhere the paper straws to the cut patterned paper.
While your adhesive dried, cut 2"x9" strips of patterned paper for your cupcake wrappers. Glue them in a circle, and insert your cupcakes inside.
Embellish your DIY cupcake toppers with stickers for extra detail. You could also stop here if you want.
Last step! Insert the cupcake toppers into your cupcakes. So pretty! This project takes just a few minutes to make. I love quick crafts! Enjoy!
