Creating a card using the Build A Flower Stamp & Dies
Step 2: Lift stencil, rotate it and spray again. Set aside to dry completely and once dry, adhere to the front of a folded card if desired.
Step 4: Use the matching die set to cut out the flower shapes.
Step 5: Adhere flower to stenciled background using glue or foam squares as I did, for extra dimension.
Step 6: Stamp sentiment on a separate piece of cardstock and adhere in place on card.
Creating a card using layered cover dies
These dies are so easy to use and have an amazing, dramatic look. For the monochromatic look we have created, simply choose three cardstock hues in the same color family. Decide which will be your base and if you'd like the layers to go from dark on top, to light at the base like the green card below, or to have a darker base and a light top layer like the purple card. Use the cover dies as instructed and build your card. To adhere the layers together you can use glue or as in the purple card, foam squares to create lots of dimension!
These layered looks are very versatile and with so many designs to choose from you're sure to have endless combinations for card making. Be sure to check out all of the new Altenew stamps as well as new embossing powders and the full line of Build a Flower Sets and Cover Dies!
