If you find yourself spending too much time thumbing through your planner trying to find your spot, I can help make your life easier. How, you ask? With DIY functional and cute planner clips!

To create my planner clips, I thought a little bit outside of the box. I actually used a page out of my Colorista coloring book to make my clips!. When we launched the new Spectrum Noir Colorista line, I fell in love with the designs. What I love most about this coloring book are the glitter accents throughout. You get pretty shimmer and shine, but don't have to worry about the mess - this glitter isn't going anywhere!

Since I wanted my planner clips to be bright and cheery, I knew the Colorista Markers were perfect for the job. These artist quality markers gave me the look I wanted and blended beautifully. After I colored in a few flowers, I cut them out and added a glue dot to the back. I also punched out a small circle and added a glue dot to the back of it. To assemble my planner clips, I sandwiched my paper clip between the glue dots on my flower and circle. So easy, right? Check out the quick video below to see exactly how I created my cute planner clips!

Once you start making these cute planner clips, you won't be able to stop! You can create a bunch to keep in your stash, or give them as a fun and functional gift for your planner besties!
