Create Custom Books with the Happy Planner Hole Punch

Posted by Meghan Quinones

Use the Happy Planner hole punch to easily create custom books from art journals to stickers books and everything else in between.

When Mambi came out with their planner hole punch, it was a huge hit. Planner lovers are now able to take their customization even further by having the ability to add pretty much anything they want to their planners. Creating custom planner dashboards, adding paper pockets and envelopes, and even inserting special notes into the Happy Planner is now possible with the planner hole punch!

What's great about the Happy Planner Punch, is you can use it outside of the Happy Planner world. Since this punch creates holes in paper, you can actually use it to create custom books! Yep, when you pair this planner hole punch with the Happy Planner Expander Rings, you can make your very own books. The Happy Planner Punch just got way cooler if you ask me!

Just think of all the possibilities when it comes to creating your own books. If you just had a baby you could create a monthly photo book. You could also make small journals as gifts or photo books of your year. You could also turn all of your engagement photos into a guest book for your wedding, create a mini alphabet book for your kiddos, or make a vacation picture book. The possibilities really are endless. If you can think it up, you can make it!

There are obviously more traditional ways of bookbinding, but using the Happy Planner Punch (and the different expandable ring sizes) makes book creating so much easier and way more attainable since there are very few supplies required. For your book covers, do not use more than 3 sheets of paper or 1 sheet of cardstock in the punch in order to avoiding jamming. The last thing you want to do is ruin your amazing planner hole punch!

With mixed media being such a huge trend it the crafting world these days, you can use the Happy Planner hole punch to create handmade art journals. You can either create a blank journal ready for you to paint, splatter, and stencil, or you can grab all of your old artwork you have shoved in a drawer and turn it into a book. You'll have all of your creations in one place and will be able to quickly thumb through the pages to see your evolution as a mixed media artist. Cool, huh?

If you are a self-proclaimed planner girl and have more sticker sheets than you can count on two hands and two feet, you can now create a sticker book to keep all of your sticker sheets in one place. Not only will this keep your stickers organized, but it will also allow you to quickly flip through to find the perfect sticker for the spread you are working on. Such a fantastic idea!
