Create a sweet holiday keepsake with your child today that is perfect to bring out as Christmas decor for many years to come!

You probably know the famous tune and perhaps even know ALL the reindeer names BUT did you know how easy today's adorable red nose kid craft is?!

Christmas time is the PERFECT time to get kids in a festive mood and interested in some holiday crafts. Not only is it the perfect way to spend a chilly winter afternoon together BUT it's also a brilliant excuse to make some awesome keepsakes that are sure to be treasured for years to come!

Inspired by some supplies I recently picked up from the Blitsy website, this Burlap Reindeer Kid Craft is as easy as it gets. PLUS it's perfect to either place in a beautiful frame for displaying on a mantell OR you can add some string to the back for easy hanging on a Christmas tree. Whatever you decide to do with it - I sure hope it inspires YOU! Happy crafting my friends!!!

Here's what you'll need:

  • Burlap Triangles
  • Red Cardstock
  • White Cardstock
  • Brown Cardstock
  • Black Cardstock
  • School Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Stapler

First you will want to trace your child's hands on some brown cardstock. Trim those out. These are your reindeer's antlers.

Next grab your white, red and black cardstock. Trim out some eyes, as well as that iconic red nose.

To finish off your Burlap Reindeer - simply glue/staple your cardstock pieces in place. Then either display as is, place it in a simple picture frame or add some string to the back for easy hanging on a Christmas tree. Remember to make a few a of these for easy gifts from the kids for the grandparents this holiday season!!!
