A DIY Mini Quote Album
Whenever I am on Pinterest, I always find myself pinning different quotes. I think it's nice to have simple reminders about living your best life. Instead of just printing out quotes and placing them in a frame, I decided to create a mini album of fun quotes!
The Maya Road Mini Square Tab Album is the perfect size to put on a table, throw in your purse, or keep in a drawer at work. I kept my design pretty basic for my quote book. I used lovely papers, a doily die, and different stamps and embellishments to decorate my album. Since the Maya Road album is chipboard, you can design your quote album however you want!
Maybe add a little paint (I did on one of my pages!), a dash a glitter, or fill it with stickers and other items you fancy!
Grab your Maya Road Album here and make sure you check out all of our pretty papers and embellishments. Oh, and if you don't have a doily die, don't worry. You can pick up the real deal here!
Here's what you'll need:
- Maya Road Mini Square Tab Chipboard Album
- Scrapbook Paper and Cardstock
- Decoart Decoupage Glue and Paint Brush
- Embellishments and Stickers
- Ink Pad and Stamps
- Ribbon (I used America Crafts Light Blue Stripped Ribbon and Glittery Gold Ribbon)
- Doily (I used my Doily Die)
- Hole punch
- Any quotes or embellishments you want for your album! :)
Let's get crafty!
I removed the metal ring from my album. I took one of my pages and traced it on my striped scrapbook paper, cut it out, added Decroart Decoupage Glue to the back of it, and glued it to the front of my page.
I used my doily die on white cardstock and my word dies on polka dot scrapbook paper.
I glued my doily to the center of my page with my decoupage glue.
I punched 3 holes on the side of my page and added 3 brads. I then glued my words to my doily.
I added a layer of Decoart Glue over my design to seal it in.
I added the word "Quotes" to the front of my album using stickers I had. I put a layer of Decoupage Glue over the top. I then added a floral brad to the front for extra detail.
I cut two pieces of my striped ribbon and tied one to each of my silver rings.
I cut two pieces of my glittery gold ribbon, punched a hold in it, cut out a notch in the bottom.
Add your gold ribbons to your metal ring and close.
