Stars & Stripes Rocket Favors

Blast off your party with these cute & simple 4th of July favors! It's easy to turn construction paper & tissue into mini rockets and fill them with your favorite candy. Then decorate them with stars & stripes (of washi tape) and make your Independence Day party a blast!

Step 1: Cut a rectangle out of colored or patterned cardstock to desired size and then cut a piece of tissue paper to the same size.

Step 2: Use double-sided tape to overlap and adhere the two pieces together along one of the longer sides.

Step 3: Decorate the body of the rocket using punches, stickers or washi tape.

Step 4: Now apply double-sided tape along one of the shorter sides and roll into a tube shape, adhering in place.

Step 5: Cut a circle shape from cardstock and use scissors to cut a slit into circle, stopping at the center point.

Step 6: Bring together sides of circle, overlapping and adhering them in place to create a cone shape. Glue cone shape to top of rocket body.

Step 7: Turn over rocket and fill with candy. Gather tissue and tie closed using twine.
