Hero Arts Rain or Shine Stamp Set

I love Hero Arts for their high-quality photopolymer clear stamps and adorable designs. Speaking of adorable designs, I instantly fell in love with their Rain or Shine stamp set. The mini rain drops, cloud, and sun are what really drew me in. So cute! This stamp set is perfect if you want to send a message to a friend or family member to help get them through the greyest days or use it to send a quick hello.

I decided to make 3 mini cards using this stamp set. I'm telling you, once you start playing with these stamps you won't be able to stop! I chose to create mini cards since the stamps are smaller in size. I went with a layered look for all three of my cards since I am a huge fan of dimensional cards. You can make your own mini cards in a snap!

How to Create Mini Cards

Step 1: Cut your cardbase to 3.5in x 3.5in and cut your panel to 3.25in x 3.25in.

Step 2: Run your cardbase through a die cutting machine with your die of choice (I used a circle and heart die). For the Oh Happy Day card I hand cut a rectangle out of the center of my cardbase.

Step 3: For the You Brighten My Day card stamp the cloud on a piece of white cardstock and then stamp the sun so the notch lines up with the cloud. You'll also do this for the I Love You Rain or Shine Card, except you'll stamp the raindrop stamp in blue below the cloud. Finally, stamp the kite onto white cardstock.

Step 4: Use markers to color in the sun and kite.

Step 5: Use the Hero Arts Ink Cubes to stamp multiple images of the Oh Happy Day stamp on white cardstock

Step 6: Fussy cut your cloud and sun images as well your kite image. Also cut around the Oh Happy Day images you stamped.

Step 7: Add foam squares behind all of your cut out images. Stamp the card panels you created first and then add the stamped images (use the completed images below as a guide). I used Distress Ink to add a blue background to my You Brighten My Day Card.

Step 8: Add Foam squares to the outside edges of your panel and stick it behind the diecut image on your cardbase.

So, In a few easy steps you can whip up some super cute mini cards to have on hand for any occasion. With Hero Arts adorable stamp designs you won't be able to stop making!

Happy Crafting!
