11 DIYs for the Perfect Derby Day
The Kentucky Derby is almost here!!! Can you tell I am excited? I heart the derby and all of the excitement that comes along with it. As this iconic event approaches, women begin to pull out their fanciest hats (or in my case make a fancy hat) and prep for the their upcoming parties. The derby is an event full of fancy, accessories, horses, and excitement. Even though the race itself lasts only a couple of minutes, you can still look your best and celebrate the race in style with these DIY projects.
I put together a list of 11 DIY friendly derby projects you can complete before the big race. If you are hosting a derby party, I have you covered. If you are in need of some derby friendly attire, I have you covered! I love all of the fancy derby hats, but I am more of a fascinator kinda gal (hence the two fascinator DIYs!). Pick your project(s) and get crafting. The Kentucky Derby is this Saturday, May 2nd!
